The wreck lies on a sandy seafloor at a depth of 97 feet (29.5 meters). Its stern section, relatively intact, rests on its starboard side to the north of the mostly flattened bow section. The prow of the bow section stands almost 15 feet (5 meters) above the seafloor. The bow itself spans approximately 117 feet (35.5 meters) and represents the central cargo hold area of the coastal freighter. Despite cross braces supporting the hull, the cargo hold is mostly flat. Over time, hard corals, gorgonians, and sponges have colonized the wreck’s surface.
