Site Description

Three Tugs, as the name indicates, is a site off the coast of Jupiter that has 3 tugboats. They sit very close one to the other and they are mostly upright and intact.

This is one of the chosen sites for shark feeding by operators in the area. It is very common to come across all kind of sharks: lemon, bulls, reef and hammerheads roaming around this site.

Route

Operators will usually drop divers south of the tugs and let them drift north to find the first tug. Many divers have reported finding two of the three tugs, but not the third one.

If attending a shark feeding trip, handlers will probably keep feeding and baiting sharks north where some patches of reef start to show up in the path.

Typical Conditions

Mostly good conditions are seen in this site. Visibility can range from 50 to 100 feet. Currents are moderate to strong.
