Site description

The “Jolly Jack” reef in Palm Beach is a favorite among divers and staff. It features an 82-foot dive with extremely deep undercuts and massive erosion. Divers can encounter a diverse abundance of tropical fish, sea turtles, moray eels, and rays. The reef’s ledge, which ranges from 6 to 8 feet, is home to sleeping nurse sharks, and at least one goliath grouper resides there as well. Additionally, you’ll find species like grunts, spadefish, parrotfish, and horse-eye jacks (which the reef is named after) along with plenty of invertebrates12. The water depths around this reef range from 30 to 100 feet within just 2 miles from shore, making it easily accessible for divers.
