Site description
“Rags Reef,” an artificial reef composed of numerous limestone boulders, was established in July 2006 as a memorial to Ginger Catanzaro, who passed away in April 2003. In August 2009, the Rags Reef Foundation added an additional 828 tons of boulders during phase 2. After more than 13 years underwater, this site has transformed into a thriving marine habitat—a great spot for lobstering during the season.

Strong currents are often present in this site. Given the site proximity to the inlet, in occasions conditions can be below average for the area (40 to 50 feet visibility)
