Site description

On August 13, 2013, a reef was deployed in an area covering approximately 7500 square feet at a depth of 35 feet. The reef consists of two pre-fabricated concrete modules at the north end and 910 tons of large limestone boulders forming the rest. The highest point of the reef reaches 8 feet in some areas. This underwater structure serves as habitat for numerous fish, crustaceans, and marine organisms, making it an ideal spot for beginner divers and snorkelers.

Route & typical conditions

Route

This site is very easy to navigate. Given its small size, dive operators may set a temporary line in this site.

Typical conditions

Currents are not very strong in this site - this is a shallow site and in comparison with other deeper reefs, currents here are very mild. Visibility can be affected in low tide conditions given this site proximity to the inlet.
