Site description

This reef site is a continuation of "Lost Ledge" which sits south. The west facing ledge has tons of marine life to discover. Divers will find all kind of tropical fish in this site. When lobster season is on, this is a very popular site for those looking for bugs - specially because it's very close to Hillsboro inlet.

Route & typical conditions

Route

Operators may put divers in the water in the south end of the reef (or even at Lost Ledge) and let them drift north to be then picked up. If currents are strong, operators may choose an alternative site to avoid picking up divers right on the inlet. Divers should keep their heading so to explore the west facing ledge.

Typical conditions

Conditions are typically good, but can be affected in south currents and low tides - given this site proximity to the inlet. Currents are mostly mild and heading north. Visibility ranges from 40 to 60 feet.
