Site description
This shallow reef is the south part of "Separated Rocks". As the name indicates, there are patches of corals separated by sand. Unlike many of the other dive sites in the area, this site does not have an evident west facing ledge. Still, this site is great for novices given it's shallow depth and its proximity to the Boca inlet.
Route & typical conditions
Route
Dive operators may choose to do this site as a drift or as an anchor dive - depending on the conditions. Regardless, divers should navigate this site south to north (or north to south) staying at the line where the reef stands out.
Typical conditions
Conditions are often good in this site - currents tend to be mild and visibility can range from 30 to 70 feet. Prevalent currents in this site are north.
