Site description

This reef, named after the abundant groupers and sharks that inhabit it, is a must-see. Large squid have also been spotted in this area. The reef’s top lies at approximately 45 feet, and it features a stunning west-facing ledge that descends to 70 feet.

Route & typical conditions

Route

This dive is mostly done as a drift dive. Divers should follow the west facing ledge for the best experience. South of this site divers will find the "Shark Ledge" which is part of the same reef system.

Typical conditions

Divers shall expect currents to be moderate to strong in this site. Visibility ranges from 40 to 80 feet.
