Site description
Flower Garden Reef, located right off West Palm Beach, offers an enchanting underwater experience. As you explore, you’ll encounter swaying corals and tropical fish—sometimes it’s hard to tell them apart! The dense soft and hard corals create a mesmerizing forest beneath the waves. The reef features both an inside and outside drop, with the outside ledge having several fingers and starting at 40 feet, sloping down to 70 feet. With visibility often exceeding 50 feet, Flower Garden Reef provides an excellent backdrop for divers.
This site is part of a larger reef system usually called "Breakers" - given it sits right off the coast of the well known resort in the area.

Dive operators will usually conduct this as a drift dive. Prevailing conditions may dictate to start the dive and the very south end of the reef system.
Typical conditions
Conditions are often good but strong currents are usually present in the area. Visibility is often ranging 50 to 70 feet.
