Site description

This barge is a nice large and flat site that fish tend to congregate. The site itself does not offer any penetration but if diving the Belzona trek, this is a must see.

Route & typical conditions

Route

It sits straight east of the Belcher barge wreck - a very short swim of 100 feet (or less). Some consider that these two sites must be considered a single dive site. Even in poor visibility conditions these sites are very easy to get back and forth. A swim over the wreck will provide everything divers need to see on this site - actually, it's difficult to tell the end of this barge and the start of the Shureger abrge.

Typical conditions

Conditions are average in this site: visibility can range from 40 to 60 feet and currents are very mild and often heading north.

Wreck history

Not much is known about this barge other than it was sunk after hurricane Andrew and received much less damage that some other wrecks near by.
