Site description

This is a very popular site among entry level technical divers given it's easy to navigate and depth is right on the limit for Technical Air level (ANDP). The site itself is no more that a ledge that suddenly presents a "hole in the wall", like a cave that is wide enough for large marine life to shelter. It's almost guaranteed that divers will see reef sharks, bull sharks and Goliath groupers all year around.

Route & typical conditions

Route

Operators in the are will often put divers a few hundred feet up current - in occasions as much as 3000 feet before the "hole in the wall". Once the cave is found, there is nothing else to explore other that the sandy and flat seabed.

Typical conditions

Currents tend to be strong in this site which helps cover a lot of ground prior to the cave. Visibility tends to be good but divers should expect a diminish in clarity at the bottom.
