Site description

The dive site “Morada” in Islamorada is a vibrant underwater spectacle, renowned for its flowing purple gorgonians and swaying purple soft corals. Aptly named ‘Morada’, which means purple in Spanish, this site is a favorite among divers who appreciate a kaleidoscope of colors. It’s also known to be a habitat for Bonnethead sharks during most of the year. With a depth ranging from 20 to 25 feet, it offers an accessible yet mesmerizing dive experience, perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in the rich marine life and colorful coral landscapes of the Florida Keys.
