Site description

Victory Reef, located off the coast of Islamorada in Florida, is a diver’s delight with its spur-and-groove coral formations and a depth ranging from 40 to 100 feet. This underwater landscape creates cave-like overhangs that shelter a variety of marine life, including lionfish, grouper, lobster, and even snook. The reef’s structure forms a distinctive “V” shape, with the inside of the “V” being a large sand channel where divers can encounter stingrays, porgies, hogfish, and sharks1. It’s a favorite among the local dive crew for its unique features and the vibrant aquatic life it supports.
